Black Sea mine countermeasures group ends its 12th activation under Bulgarian command
The Bulgaria–Romania–Türkiye group is on its 12th activation. Six drifting mines have been neutralised in Bulgaria's EEZ since 2022.

Exercise Nusret-2026
The Turkish mine countermeasures exercise Nusret-2026 with 20 ships, 5 aircraft, NATO's SNMCMG-2 and EOD teams from six countries.
In the exercise the Turkish Navy laid the MALAMAN smart seabed mine (over 600 kg, acoustic, magnetic and pressure sensors) from TCG Karabiga. The MCM Black Sea group took part on 13–14 October.
