According to the minister, aircraft, the Bulgarian Navy and assets capable of engaging threats are involved in protecting the Black Sea area. Examination of the wreckage of the Chelsea 3 continues, but responsibility for the attack has yet to be definitively established.

As BNT reports, the European Parliament is calling in a resolution for EU countries, in cooperation with NATO, to help Bulgaria and Romania with the early detection and tracking of hostile unmanned systems threatening shipping in the Black Sea. The resolution is a political appeal, not a decision to launch an operation.

The Supreme Council of National Defence discussed accelerating the development of surveillance, mine countermeasures and counter-drone capabilities. Bucharest links the measures to protecting shipping, ports and energy facilities.

At Cheshnegirovo airfield, BOLD ADRA 26 brings together special forces and industry representatives for joint trials of drones and counter-drone systems. The aim is to test not only how individual technologies perform, but also how they work together in an operational environment.
